The original video tape recorded auditions by Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita. The guy talking off-camera is Karate Kid director John Avildson, who also directed the first three Rocky films.

Great interview with Pat Morita explaining the back story of how he was cast in Karate Kid

Hilarious (and thought provoking) fan movie recut of Karate Kid, positioning Johnny as the good guy and Daniel as a spoilt bully.

Ralph telling the story of how they shot the fly and chopsticks scene with a fly tied to a string ... no really !
