We talk all things 'Homicide' David Mamet's 3rd film as Writer/Director and all three featured Joe. The opening scenes set you up for 'seen it before' cop buddy film, but Mamet being Mamet, that snot where we end up, detouring down dark alleyways that include arson, murder, anti-semitism, and neo-nazis.

Its a heck of a roller coaster ... and Joe is your guide !

As Roger Ebert wrote upon it's release; "Only David Mamet could write, and perhaps only his favorite actor Joe Mantegna could deliver, this dialogue so bluntly and forcibly, and yet with such verbal slickness that it has the freedom of a jazz improvisation."
